Have you ever wondered what it would be like to really LIVE in color? What would it be like to wear one color every day for a week, a month or even a year?
Performance artist, Darlinda Just Darlinda is fresh off her second foray into a Year in Rainbow. 2007-2008 and 2020-2021 Darlinda made her life as an interactive art work called Year in Rainbow. She created a rainbow for her world by wearing one color every other month and rainbow on the alternate months in a 6 month format according to the order of colors on a rainbow: Red , Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Purple.
In 2007-2008 every month she would create a live show that incorporated the color of the month. In 2020-2021 due to the pandemic she created an experimental video for every month in addition to documenting her life on a daily blog.
