Anyway it's been an intense week for our Queer Rights and the Rights of our Transgender Non-Binary Siblings at the Supreme Court. I find myself grateful to be living in NYC, grateful to be making the art I want to be making and I do not take it for granted. I could be working for a corporation that might be able to fire me for being Queer. It's International Lesbian Day, so naturally I've been thinking so much about my right and the fact that I'm using the Gay Pride Rainbow in my show! Anyway, One Woman Rainbow is autobiographical and I will share some intense stories about being Queer, some comedic stories, and some connected spiritual moments, I MEAN, I DO use the chakras as a storytelling device. The Village Voice dubbed Queer Performance Art Burlesque Performer, Darlinda Just Darlinda, "Mastermind of Bizarre Extravaganza.” After 15 years in the entertainment world Darlinda Just Darlinda is turning over a new colorful leaf! In Fall 2018 she wrote Untitled Rainbow Project with a cast of 8 performers. She's on a rainbow kick with the world premier of, One Woman Rainbow (Untitled Rainbow Project Abridged)! One Woman Rainbow is Darlinda Just Darlinda's one woman performance art variety show! Join her as she takes you on a participatory journey through the colors of the rainbow. One Woman Rainbow explores the guiding depths of the rainbow color chakras in an autobiographical dance theater multimedia color explosion!
